Animal Fibres Discovery Pack
See and feel fibre samples from seven fibre animals: merino sheep, cashmere goat, mohair, alpaca, angora, yak and camel. Each fibre sample is enclosed in a grip seal bag which is large enough for you to touch and feel the fibres. The bag has a picture of the animal and a description of both the animal and its fibre.

Plant Fibres Discovery Pack
See and feel fibre samples from a range of plant fibres: cotton, flax, hemp, jute, kapok, sisal, bamboo and ramie. Each fibre sample is enclosed in a grip seal bag which is large enough for you to touch and feel the fibres. The bag has a picture of the plant and a description of both the plant and its fibre.

Cotton bolls
When the cotton plant flowers fall off, they leave a large capsule (or cotton boll) which splits opens to reveal a fluffy mass of white, downy, cotton fibre surrounding the cotton seeds. Cotton bolls are an excellent teaching resource and an unusual wedding anniversary gift, especially for a second wedding anniversary.
